Service Description

If you are new to clay, this course will introduce you to making pots on a wheel and hand-building pots. If you already have some experience this course will enable you to practice what you already know and extend your knowledge. In our pottery studio, we encourage all to learn about pottery processes and techniques, and gain practical experience of working with clay. You will get to experience both throwing and handbuilding throughout the day. While we have projects that you can follow for what you may make, we encourage you to come along with your own plans and ideas! The fee includes a delicious lunch and 4 of your pots glazed and fired in our kilns! I'm afraid that we do not have the capacity for participants to keep any more than 4 pots from the day so at the end you'll be asked to choose or chuck! This class runs from 10am-4pm, with a lunch break around 1230pm. We recommend that the minimum age is 14 when accompanied by an adult on the course and 16 without adult supervision. We are an access for all studio, and will happily accommodate any needs, please just let us know! Maximum of 5 spaces available per booking, please place two separate orders should you wish to book more spaces.
