BECOME A shared MEMBER
Our shared membership is on offer as an option for people who would like to access the studio together. We hope that this will open the opportunity of using the studio to those that may not have been able to previously.
Membership includes up to 12hr access to open studio depending on your contract. Your monthly fee will include guidance from our onsite mentors, use of facilities, tools, and glazes, up to 25 litres per month of standard temperature firing, and your own storage shelf (45cmx45cmx90cm).

Through a shared membership, all of these resources are shared. The shelf, the hours, the allowance. How you choose to split your allowance is at your discretion.
The only additional thing you have to buy is clay, which we sell on-site at bulk prices. Evidence of previous training in ceramics is necessary to become a member, otherwise we encourage you to take our 10 week ceramics for all course and go from there.

You will also be able to attend our organised talks and demonstration sessions from visiting artists and makers, book extra one-to-one tuition, and display functional ware as well as other items in our on-site gallery and coffee house.

As a Community Interest company we keep our membership prices as low as possible. We are proud to have some of the lowest studio membership prices in the UK but we understand that this may still more than some can afford. Our mission is to provide access to making for all and in order to achieve this we also have provided alternative plans to cater for all:
CLAY CONCESSIONS PLAN
If you are a student, rely on benefits for your income or are on Universal credit we provide all of our membership plans and a fifth of our course intake at a 15% discount. (Proof required)

If you are studying ceramics or have experience and knowledge about working with clay then you can take up a time exchange placement. Instead of paying a membership fee, you give your time working in the studio in return for studio access and kiln firing.
